Portsmouth SEND Appreciation Awards

Our award categories
- Support for Young People Award
For services that help young people
with SEND feel included and supported.
This
award celebrates organisations or teams that create welcoming spaces, activities, or services
designed especially for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Support for Families Award
For
someone or a service that supports parents and carers of children with
SEND.
This
could be a professional, a group, or a service that makes a real difference to families offering
advice, emotional support, or practical help.
- Community Choice Award
For a
person or team who has gone the extra mile to help children or families with
SEND.
Anyone
in Portsmouth can be nominated, from a neighbour to a teacher, volunteer, or local business, if
they’ve made a positive impact. There is no overall winner in this category and everyone will
receive a certificate in recognition of their efforts.
- Co-Production Award
A
service or individual who have used co-production to develop/improve services for children with
SEND.
This
award recognises people or services that listen to families and work with them to make things
better. A true partnership. We call this co-production.
Be quick! Nominations close on 20th October. If you have any questions about nominations, please send us a message.
